This site is still in it’s Infancy!
The idea is to create a nationwide directory of all the services available for animal related services there are. So why not just google for them? That would be awesome; except Google doesn’t have all the local resources that might exists, such as shelters, or rescue services. Many places don’t have a website, and they may have 5 or 6 volunteers – out there on their own. Usually their network gets them by – but wouldn’t it be nice to have a listing?
For now we are starting in the Champlain Valley, soon to go Statewide, adding states as we go along.
For most animal services, there is no charge to have a listing; however we may implement “Ad Listings” like the old-fashioned telephone books, which we could charge for. Also there WILL be ads on this site from pet suppliers, and other affiliates. But that will be down the road.
You might be an animal advocate who would like to introduce yourself and contribute to the mission or maybe you’re a business that would like to donate to the cause – any amount right now will get you a ‘sticker ad’ on the site!
